Invaders! Review

BetSoft produce a number of great Bitcoin slots, however Invaders! is not their best piece of work. While it will entertain for short amounts of time, it just doesn’t seem as detailed or seamless as some other slots they’ve created. It does have two bonus features, however they aren’t all that interesting, plus the theme is very similar to slots like It Came From Venus! and Arrival, but not anywhere near as good.

There’s no doubting that this Bitcoin slot does look really good though, which should please those who favor a more aesthetically pleasing way to play. Experienced slot players will know that great graphics alone don’t make for a great slot though, and unfortunately this one doesn’t back up its look with any substance.

Gameplay

Invaders! has twenty paylines spread across five reels, and you can choose how many of these paylines to play, as well as how much to bet. The game plays slightly slowly, so you won’t be able to rush through loads of spins, however it is smooth and easy to understand. There’s no Gamble feature, which is a good thing, and there is also no Autoplay feature, which is very unusual.

Bonuses

The newspaper is the wild symbol at Invaders!, while the scatter is the meteorite. The Initiate symbol is perhaps the key to winning the biggest prizes, as getting three or more on an active payline starts the Invader Multiplier feature. This essentially adds multipliers to each of the Initiate symbols on the payline, which are then added up to reveal your total multiplier.

The second screen bonus is activated by scattering three UFOs hovering over a house on the reels. This leads to a simple bonus round, where you’ll have to choose from different houses to reveal your prize. It’s not too original, and it really isn’t too much fun either.

Conclusion

Invaders! really doesn’t tick all the boxes, as it fails to offer good bonuses, doesn’t have an original theme, and is, well, quite boring. The prizes can be pretty large though, which is something that can never be criticized.
