Super Bowl LIV: Bitcoin Betting

The 2nd of February 2020 may as well be declared a gambling holiday. The 54th Super Bowl extravaganza between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers looks set to break records. According to the American Gaming Association, an estimated $6 billion worldwide was wagered on last year’s Super Bowl, with many pundits expecting yet even greater sums gambled on the Super Bowl this year.

The Super Bowl has gained a reputation for being an intense, high-thrill event and what better way to place bets than with the world’s most cutting-edge currency, Bitcoin. The popularity of cryptocurrencies has grown so great in recent years, that now over 50 Bitcoin sportsbooks are offering NFL markets to fans who want to bet with Bitcoin and other digital currencies.

Bitcoin offers Super Bowl supporters a number of benefits over traditional currencies like US Dollars and Euros:

  1. Anonymous betting – there are now a handful of sports betting sites that will allow players to bet with complete privacy.
  2. Speed – Bitcoin deposits and withdrawal times average at around 10 minutes.
  3. Gambling-friendly – Bitcoin transactions do not run through a central party who is capable of censoring or blocking the transaction. Bitcoin gamblers can choose to spend their money as they wish.

This high degree of anonymity, speed and accessibility to anyone in the world make Bitcoin the absolute best currency for Super Bowl betting.

Betting is better with Bitcoin.

Where to Bet on the Super Bowl – Top 3 Bookies

There are a multitude of Bitcoin Sportsbooks to choose from but some of our favorites include the following:

1. Stake.com

As one of the largest and fastest growing Bitcoin casinos, Stake.com has decided to offer odds for the Superbowl with no margin on the Winner market. This promotion comes as part of their effort to promote their new Bitcoin sportsbook, one which has found a great deal of success in its recent listing of the Australian Open and McGregor vs Ceronne in January 2020. This promotion has resulted in some of the best winner odds for the Super Bowl:

  • San Francisco 49ers: 2.11
  • Kansas City Chiefs: 1.84

That’s not it, on top of having ZERO margin in the NFL final, all pre-live bets on the Winner market in the Super Bowl will be paid out as a winner if either team gets 15 points in front.

The experts at Stake.com are expecting a close match between both teams with Kansas City Chiefs taking a slight lead as the favorite.

2. Nitrogen Sports

As the world’s largest anonymous Bitcoin sportsbook, Nitrogen is expecting enormous interest in their Super Bowl markets. The bookie offers several NFL markets including 1st quarter betting and users can win a share of the 10 BTC prize pool if the Super Bowl goes into overtime.

3. Cloudbet

Cloudbet offers customers some of the best odds for the NFL as well as unrivalled bitcoin betting limits. The sportsbook accepts Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. They are offering a bonus of 100% up to 5 BTC.

About the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl was first played in 1967 and its name from the type of arena it is played in, with the original game taking place in the Rose Bowl stadium in California.

Although there were other NFL playoffs before the Super Bowl was created, the event appeared after a merger between the NFL and the AFL. The championship decider has hosted many great events and provides an excellent day of sporting action. The event sees the winners of the NFC Conference and the AFC Conference, lock horns in one final battle to determine a championship winner.
